If you're gonna do it, do it with a bang. I vote for the aforementioned
prills and oil concept. Explosives are more fun than matches.

Sadly this isn't the kind of bamboo that pandas eat. I know that short
of
digging a trench for a retaining wall that this will spread. It would
be great to start a bamboo demolition company with effective bamboo
removal methods, but I'd start with a "scorched earth" policy...
