Your personal opinion of the guy's personality is moot; he has the clear
legal and natural rights here. The business does not.
I related a similar experience at Tiger Direct (Capital Blvd store) on
this mailing list. While nobody physically detained me (oh that would
have been rich to watch them try) they were yelling at me trying to get
me to comply.
The whole experience left me feeling better about patronizing newegg.com
and waiting a few days for my parts to arrive.
