I don't want it to sound like sour grapes, but when you're somewhere other than the constantly-traced route of work-I40-home, it's not hard to be happy.

For my part, the choices would be the Homestead, an inn in Midway, Utah (winter or summer); or the Loire valley in France.

Re: [internetworkers] Anywhere in the world

I’m pretty happy where I am, no matter where I go.

Last week I was traveling with my fiancĂ©e through northern Italy and absolutely loved Venice. Right now I’m acclimating to Foreign Service life in Cotonou, in the small West-African nation of Benin. Just had dinner at Livingston’s, which appears to be a very popular expat hangout in these parts; the food was actually pretty decent.

[internetworkers] Anywhere in the world

It's Friday and I'd rather be anywhere in the world besides where I am right now.  If I could I'd be in one of the following:

Rodanthe, NC
Rincon, Puerto Rico
Amsterdam, Netherlands

where you would be if you could?
