Lance, would you elaborate on what you mean re: LJ and protected
entries? I wasn't aware that ANY outside service would allow one to read
LJ protected entries, regardless of paid/free status, unless you first
authenticate to LJ in some way. Do you know of a method to integrate
this? (I am a paid account user)

Oh, and I've been using Google Reader for several months now, and I LOVE
it. The interface is easy (both to use and to learn) and I think the
toolset (share/star/etc) is useful. I'm interested to see if they
continue their trend of integration - for instance, portal interface for
blogware linked with gmail linked with reader?
