Dear Judith,

Thank you for helping us to identify someone who can assist us with our
computers at Chatham Habitat.

I am attaching a list of needs/tasks. [included below - Judy]

As I mentioned, we are interested in finding a volunteer for this work.
If we cannot find a volunteer, or if the tasks become extensive after an
assessment of what we need, Chatham HFH will consider entering into a
contract to pay a person with the needed expertise.

Computer Technical Assistance Tasks 8/18/06

• old email needs to be transferred to a new CPU
• system is in place for computer back up, but need to know how to use
it
• many of our computers are slow; need evaluation
• some email addresses changed to @chathamhabitat.org , but not all
• help notify email list of new email address
• need help with computer set up in new office area
• need to update our website (maybe a longer term project)
• check memory on all computers
• check and understand networking capacity
• erase program from a troubled computer and reload
• get best spam blocker system installed on each computer with maintenance instructions
• understand use and explore purchase of external hard drive
