but then again you can sometimes pick up a bargain there. just gotta use what i call the "Best Buy Rules".

research ahead of time, know exactly what you want, find the item yourself and carry it directly to the checkout. if any circumstance arises that would require talking to a store employeee: abandon mission and flee the premises.

applies to many retailers: Circuit City, Best Buy, etc.

stay online http://www.stayonline.com

good stock, informed service. you pay for the privilege of grabbing it off the shelf. well worth it if you need something right away.

for the gigabit switch: doesn't Cisco have a storefront in that outlet mall by the airport?
