Job Title: Technical Support Engineer
Job Description: Key Responsibilities:
Associate Technical Support
Engineers gain general familiarity with Siebel Applications
functionality with specialization in at least one Resource Group
(including all product areas within the group).

Specific level
responsibilities include:
• Work within a designated product area to
respond to customer requests ranging in complexity levels from low to
medium.
• Define customer facing 'Plans of Action' ensuring customer
commitments are met.
• Researching customer issues utilizing the
product documentation and support tools available.
• Reproducing
reported product behavior in test environments
• Provide the highest
levels of customer service in support of the Siebel customer
satisfaction goals, aiming for customer SR survey gaps below 2 in all
areas related to Technical Support. Demonstrate focus and commitment
to Customer satisfaction in all aspects of daily work.
• Complete
any necessary follow-up on resolution, including logging of product
and documentation defects, and enhancement requests.
• Undertake
regular training in order to expand technical and professional skills.

• Attain Siebel Certified Support Engineer status.
• Contribute to
the Technical Support knowledge base by authoring value-added Alerts,
FAQs and Technical Notes as well as publishing Service request
solutions.
• Undertake Duty Engineer duties in support of the
Resource Group, to include queue monitoring and Service Request
triage.
