Great marketing, though. Viral marketing, audio clips of the band's music, a captured audience, etc. Maybe it's the next wave in Internet advertising -- gamertisements (just credit me when it becomes a buzz word). A good precursor is those Flash animated banner ad "games" where you have to click on a certain spot to make the link. They must work because I've seen more and more of them.
