The discussion or advertisement of music seems to be an oft-frequented
topic among INWers. I just sent an email concerning music and mankind to
some friends. Here's an excerpt:
>>
...hmmm... I wonder if there have been any psychological, physiological,
genetic, evolutionary, linguistic, or whatever other studies done about
the relationship humankind has with music. It seems rather important to
people everywhere, no matter the culture or time; moreso than any other
art form. There must be something about the brain's wiring...

Any opinions? Any knowledge of any such studies?
