FDISK did fine. I removed the "E" partition, no problem
Oddly, though, the volume name for the "D" drive is "Af" and the keyboard's only giving me an uppercase "F" and it's not recognizing the volume name. Hence DOS/FDISK won't delete the "D" drive.
...any suggestions? (DOS is starting to come back to me now. Ohmygod;-)
Thanks

if you're planning to reinstall Windows anyways, use DOS's FDISK command
(and say YES to the 'enable large drives' question). this is assuming
Win95/98/ME; have it boot to DOS first. in FDISK, delete drives C, D, and
E, and create a new primary drive that uses all the space on the disk.
then reboot (you'll need a boot floppy or bootable CD to start the windows
install).

if you want to keep your data, you need PartitionMagic or similar
software. PM will let you "grow" the C drive to fill the disk *after*
you've deleted the D and E drives.

and you probably mean a "6 Gb" drive; there ain't a drive in the world
that's 6 GHz. :)
