I do nightly rsync's in both directions with a colo'd box. YMMV, but
I got heavily addicted to having my backups as rsync's (rdiff-backup
being a better tool, actually, but still) to software-raid linux boxes
in other physical locations :)
To be honest, it's prob. easiest to treat it like swimming protection
- find a buddy in a similar situation, and have each other give accts
for mirroring the data. This assumes sensitive data is encrypted
inside the files, and maybe that doesn't hold true for you (yet? :)
Course, professional backup services like Iron Mountain are certainly
an option too.
Course, there's this approach, as well ;)
