Thomas,

I'm currently working as a software consultant. I'm quite proficient in
C++. The fee would depend on the size of the project. For a small
application, I'd say about $400.

Subject: [internetworkers] C++ consultant needed

I have a client who is having a dispute over a software development
project with a freelancer. They have apparently resolved the dispute
with the freelancer agreeing to turn over the source and machine code
and documentation (if any) to the client.

So my client is looking for a competent software developer who can
look
at this code to make sure that the source code is complete and
corresponds to the actual application software.

Is there anyone hereabouts proficient with C++ who could take a look
at
the code for this person for a modest-but-appropriate fee? The client
did not say so, but I also infer the potential for future development
work on this application. Please email me off-list if you are
interested or know someone to suggest.

TaB

P.S. What /would/ be an appropriate fee for such a consultation?
