17)@the cantina w/ viavant and prettyasapill

THIS JUST IN: We'll also be doing a small promo show @ Great Grapes in
Cary (saltbox Village) with Viavant and Prettyasapill on Sat April 5th!
That will be durning a wine tasting in the late afternoon ~2~4ish.

Subject: TNG - Application Support Position
Importance: High

I know that some of you have responded to this position before. If you have
and we contacted you and have note heard back that is due to the client not
being interested. If you did and we did NOT contact you, that is because we
did not think you would be a good fit.

I am looking for some fresh new resume to submit to the client. When this
position originally came out (many months ago), it was a permanent position.
It is know a 6 month to perm position. They want to make sure they have the
right candidate before bringing them on.

If you are interested and qualified please send me your resume.

Thanks,

Matt Panella

Manager, Professional Services

This is for a 6 month contract-to-perm position. We're looking for someone
who will set the standard. A person with leadership experience, and the
following requirements:

Technical Requirements

Expert understanding of applications support and troubleshooting for
standard (off-the-shelf) and non-standard (internally developed)
applications is mandatory. This position is 90% application support.
Advanced knowledge of databases (Oracle, SQL, SAS, Microsoft Access, etc.)
and related support activities is essential. Advanced knowledge of
networking configurations (NT and Novell), networking protocols (especially
TCP/IP), related services (WINS, DNS, etc.), utilities (PING, TRACERT, etc.)
and routing. The ability to troubleshoot networking and connectivity issues
is essential. Advanced knowledge of Windows and UNIX operating systems as
well as related features and capabilities (ftp, CRON, etc.) is essential.

Special Position Requirements

Bachelors Degree in Computer Science or related field mandatory Scheduled
on-call rotation (approx. once monthly) in support of some global and/or
24x7 critical business units is mandatory. Candidate MUST be able to
efficiently communicate with and support remote users.

Candidate MUST be organized and possess the initiative to complete tasks
without much oversight.

Candidate MUST feel comfortable working in a regulated environment (it is
preferable that they already have such experience). Candidate MUST exhibit
good documentation practices (i.e., CSV, procedures, user manuals, etc.).

Solid understanding of software development life cycle (SDLC) is
preferred.

Some development experience (i.e., C++, Lotus Notes, SAS, etc.) is
preferred.
