Even though I would drool over a big screen as much as anybody else
here, I do plan on any marriage resulting from any engagement I were to
enter into to far outlast any big screen. Diamonds and, one would hope
marriage, do not have the same obsolescence factor as consumer
electronics. However, with the current divorce rate that's not always a
given.

Getting down on one knee would be less
romantic when you have the two guys
from Circuit City behind you trying to
get the big screen through the door.

But the pay-off in the negative case
is better.
