Frpm SOUTHEAST TECH WIRE -- Aug. 30, 2002:

"(Research Triangle Park, N.C.) IBM, one of the largest employers in the
Research Triangle, has developed a new service aimed at college students,
called eSuds. The special washers and dryers allow students to check a web
site for empty machines in their dorms and to add soap that is dispensed
automatically by the washing machine. When the wash is done, students can
receive an e-mail telling them to pick up their clothes."
