While many have written that spam will all but ruin email in a few months, the
national attention is focused on terrorists attacking via the Internet.
This article refutes the threat quite eloquently. It also includes links to a
lot of the news stories that support the idea of Internet-based terrorist
attacks.

The most provocative passage:

Now, with the current struggle on Capitol Hill to approve Dubya's new Gestapo,
it's essential that the man in the street be frightened and confused by a
torrent of 'news' pointing to incomprehensible threats which only Big Bro has
the knowledge and skill to protect him from.

So.....

Can a network designed to survive a nuclear war survive Al Qaeda?

Okay, that one was rhetorical.

Some better ones, hopefully (or supply your own):

How does one protect against terrorists via the Internet? Is the real threat
hacking or information sharing?

Seems that this political movement is a dramatic shift towards the
Balkanization of the Internet. How does protecting against said terrorist
attacks change the Internet?
