Governments worldwide have been embracing Linux, from China to Germany to
Peru. Quite cool, as governments have always played a major role in IT, both
as consumers and as drivers for innovation. For instance, IBM was created
because the U.S. Census Bureau wanted to complete the 1890 Census before 1900.
(The 1880 census took 9 years to complete.)
