You'd think that having the CEO of AMD testify for you would be a "good
thing", but apparently not:
http://www.siliconvalley.com/mld/siliconvalley/business/columnists/gmsv/3082788.htm
"Advanced Micro Devices CEO Jerry Sanders, who in written testimony argued
that a remedy proposed by the litigating states 'would set the computer
industry back almost 20 years,' acknowledged during cross-examination Tuesday
that he hadn't read that remedy or, for that matter, the proposed antitrust
settlement between Microsoft and the Justice Department ."
Isn't there an economist somewhere who agree's with Microsoft's view of the
world, and yet hasn't accepted money from them?
http://www.siliconvalley.com/mld/siliconvalley/business/special_packages/ms_antitrust/3083781.htm
"An economist testifying for Microsoft Corp. in its antitrust case conceded
Wednesday that all the research he's published on the software industry since
1998 has been at least partly funded by the software giant."
