Hi Alan,
I'm the presenter this thursday and can tell you that the
math involved will be minimal. :-) I'll explain how
a few algorithms work, but I'll also go into why you
would want encryption and specifically how to use
GnuPG. While my demonstration will be on linux,
it should still be applicable to MacOSX.
