www.openoffice.org distributes the latest versions of StarOffice 6, which I only found after the rumors circulated that Sun was going to start charging after they pulled the beta. I'm not against paying for it, since 6.0 is a great office suite, but right now www.openoffice.org is the only source for StarOffice 6.

In my experience StarOffice has the best MS Office compatibility, period. I've been working on a large, fairly complicated presentation in StarOffice for Linux, and once the font was changed to something that's on Windows, it worked great inside PowerPoint. StarOffice doesn't just support the basic stuff, but every single feature of PowerPoint was available.
