Judge Motz rejected the proposed settlement in the private antitrust
lawsuits against Microsoft. That was the settlement where M$ was going
to "donate" "free" computers and software to schools.

I really dig this quote:

"To put it bluntly, in the words of the
opponents of the proposed settlement, the
donation of free software could be viewed as
constituting 'court approved predatory pricing,'"
Motz wrote.
