AbsolUTEly! There's the basic black loafer that goes with some
slacks or jeans; the low-heeled black mule with the broad strap
that works with more substantial outfits and the higher or more
narrow-heeled black mule with the narrower, flirtier strap that
works with lighter, softer outfits; the sexy, spike heeled
pump for nights out and the sensible-heeled, rounder-toed pump
for the office; the ankle, mid-calf, knee-high and, for the
truly adventurous, over-the-knee or even thigh-high boot,
with a variety of soles, toes, heels, and possibly hardware,
each of which will just *make* some outfits but be a nightmare
with others; there's the flirty black sandal, the sporty black
sandal, and the sexy black sandal, which can itself have a
multitude of heel heights and shapes that'll make it work or
not work with almost anything.... And so on. All shoes are
*not* created equal, thank heavens.

Cheers!
