The new Planet of the Apes remake is set to start showing this weekend, and
as a huge fan of both Tim Burton and the original movies I'm very excited to
see this new version. Audiences have long gotten past the point of
considering a movie full of talking apes to be an oddity, but Burton's skill
at creating unique and creepy on-screen atmospheres, coupled with the
advances in makeup should at the very least by interesting visually.
If you're close to Chapel Hill, you might consider seeing it at the Lumina.
Its got stadium seating and the sound's not too bad. http://www.thelumina.com
