"We've been in business for 30 years. I don't know of any dot-com
that could even begin to match that," said Shea Tisdale, e-commerce
director at PHE Inc. in Hillsborough, N.C., which sells sex games,
videos and other products online.

Heh. "I don't know of any two-hundred year old airlines, either",
Champeon said, with a donut in his mouth, trying not to laugh.

I mean, really. Adam and Eve isn't a porn site, is it? It's a catalog
for the same stuff they sell in those "NEWS" stores on Capital
Boulevard. Does everything that can't be shown on prime time fall into
the category "porn" now? Here I was, thinking pornography referred to
writing and other portrayals of acts and so forth designed to feed the
prurient interest. I may be weird, but I rarely get excited about
catalogs. :)

At any rate, I hope the exodus of skilled professionals from dotcoms
into porn improves the overall quality of the genre ;)
