Just wondering if anyone out there who is a Mac lover is on OS X now? I
have been told by several people to stay away for now because it's still a
little buggy. Anybody got any advice?...

i went ahead and bought os x and got it running without a hitch. couldn't stand that dock though, so i'm back on 9.1 now.

i find the TaskMenuBar control panel that runs on 9.1 much more efficient than that annoying dock. doesn't get in the way either since it stays up at the top and uses the empty space of the menu bar. i suppose you could get used to the dock, especially if you're not a designer and screen real estate is not as high of a priority.

although you can set the dock to hide itself and only pop-up when you move your pointer to the bottom of the screen, i found that to be too many steps to open an app or switch to a different one. doing either function with the TaskMenuBar in 9.1 is a 2 (as opposed to 3) step process, just point and click. that extra step would drive me crazy after a while.

plus, i thought os x did not have enough preference settings in general.

other than that, the new finder seemed pretty kewl and i'm sure will go over pretty well.
