Hi:

I am sure that many of you have heard of Napster, and the dilemma they are currently experiencing. Napster goes to Washington next week to testify in front of the Senate Judiciary Committee, on the joys of file sharing at "Online Entertainment and Copyright Law: Coming Soon to a Digital Device Near You".

These hearings and the combatant litigation in the Courts may very well form the laws that will govern this type of technology in the future.

From Napster's Website:
"Napster Goes to Washington! We need you, your parents, your kids and your friends to attend the April 3rd Senate Hearing on Capitol Hill in Washington DC. There will also be a teach-in the night before with Napster founder Shawn Fanning, and a concert at a local nightclub the night of April 3rd to thank people who come out for the hearing. "

Details on the hearing:
http://judiciary.senate.gov/

If you go to the hearing and are one of the first 1000 people, you will get admittance to the concert that evening at an undisclosed location. I'll be there, partying to my hearts content.

Show your support by going up or at least going to the website and joining the Napster Action Network (http://newsletter.napster.com/nan/).

Thank you for reading and your support
