Hey all,

This Friday, my friend Ben Spicher, a long-suffering player at the Rialto's
Rocky Horror Show, is one of ten male finalists on broadway.com's audition
for the upcoming Broadway version of the Rocky Horror Picture Show.

I don't know the exact details, but Ben's video of himself (he
plays Riff-Raff in the weekly Raleigh version of RHPS) performing a number
from the show was chosen from the entrants. You can vote for him online on
FRIDAY AUG. 4 after, by going to
http://www.broadway.com/rockyvote/males.cfm.

But don't take my word for it - listen to him! So please, help support Ben
in this chance for notariaty. Go to
http://www.broadway.com/rockyvote/males.cfm and vote for Ben!!

Here's the story from broadway.com: (Ben is one of the 10 male finalists)

Rocky Online Broadway Auditions
The Rocky Horror Show is coming back to Broadway on October 3rd (for a
Halloween opening) and you can audition to be part of the cast right here on
Broadway.com.

The Rocky Horror Show is a story of love, lust, manipulation, seduction,
submission, domination, creation, satisfaction, biological advancement and
simultaneous orgasm. The story traces the bizarre adventures of the
clueless Brad and Janet as they struggle to survive amid Transylvanian
oddities - including the world's most powerful and sweet transvestite, Frank
'N' Furter.

Ready to do the "Time Warp" on a Broadway stage? For the first time in
history, you can audition online for a role in a Broadway production. Are
you
the virginal Janet? The oblivious Brad? The frightening Riff-Raff? The
delicious Magenta? You can audition for any role you want - just submit a
videotape and keep your fingers crossed.

The Rocky Horror production team will choose 20 finalists, 10 men and 10
women. The finalists will have their tapes put on the Broadway.com site.
>From there, users will vote on the best auditions. Once the votes are
tallied,
one male and one female will be flown to New York for a private audition
with
Rocky Horror's producer Jordan Roth (The Donkey Show), director
Christopher Ashley (Jeffrey, The Most Fabulous Story Ever Told), casting
director Bernard Telsey and choreographer.

Here's your chance to make it to the big time! Just click here for more
details.
