this peeps-in-the-microwave assertion is true, although be prepared to clean
up afterwards.
Far more interesting, however, are CD's, candles and tinfoil. When properly
constructed, quasi-stable plasma can be clearly generated.
Actually I speak out of turn, it may not be plasma in the strict definition
of the term, but it certainly exhibits behavior that I have heard is
characteristic of plasma particles.
