That makes really good sense. Mine is all stacked as it came from the
woods. No real order. But I do the same, using certain wood for
certain weather. Wood is wood to everyone else in the house, so it
would be easier to just point them to the appropriate stack.

Throughout the year, as you amass wood, it is kind of haphazard looking with several small piles next to each other, but it all comes together eventually.
