Before I even looked, I was going to say Garter snake. Around here,
almost any snake that isn't something obvious (Coral snake, rattlesnake,
etc) is called a Garter snake. They come in so many colors and patterns.
The ones around here look like the pretty green-patterned snake in the
picture titled "a young Garter snake" here:
