Thanks, I will look into it. I have to get some other things out of the way first.

My son messed with the computer the other day in attempting to move some pictures from his laptop to mine. He went in and futzed with the wizard to set up a home network. Now I am getting connection errors I cannot seem to eliminate. On some web pages I get an error 623, could not find phone book entry. At other times it tries to go online via dial up. I am continuously connected via WiFi here so it should not be looking for a dial up connection.

I jumped the gun, that one is fixed. Somehow it thought it was looking for a VPN connection. When I went into the Internet configuration and told it to never dial up, The error message disappeared.
What got me on this search is another problem that just showed up. I use a Ham Radio program called Echolink. Echolink is a Voip program that allows me to connect to various repeaters and join in nets. It has worked on this machine for over a year now including the recent upgrade. Suddenly it stopped working on the wireless connection. It still works on the cell phone. When I run the tests it tells me that the UDP ports are not blocked but receive fails. This is a wireless network and I have ports 5198 and 5199 set to allow UDP in the router. My thinking now is that Verison DSL has done something and I am researching that.
