Our trip to Orlando went really well, no problems at all. We saw as much as we could but after a couple of full days Aurora was just about worn out. After we got back she went back to the docs and they said they are never going to let another kid go right after a chemo treatment.
I can't say enough about the Make A Wish people and the folks who run Give Kids The World Village.

A Make A Wish volunteer met us at the Seattle airport, the airlines had a cake waiting at the gate (big enough for all the passengers). We got to go in first and Aurora was able to sit in the cockpit and mess with switches. A Make A Wish volunteer met us at Orlando and got us to our rental car.
The Give Kids The World Village had everything else needed for the stay. From food & ice cream to miniature golf to delivered pizza & sodas. Don't want to forget the passes and directions to everything.

There is so much to see and do in the Orlando area I couldn't believe it. From the amusement parks to the Kennedy Space Center to the Atlantic Ocean. We saw as much as we could.

This trip was perfect, everything was taken care of, the whole thing was set up to make a sick kids wish come true and that was done. Even the weather cooperated, it turned just perfect when we arrived in Florida and the cold and snow was on it's way out when we got back to Washington.

No complaints and a big thanks to the fine people (mostly volunteers) at Make A Wish and Give Kids The World Village.
