A couple of years ago you wrote an article about rhubarb growing in the State
of Washington. In the article you mentioned the "Washington Rhubarb Growers
Association."
I am trying to locate a source who might know the total dollar sales of
rhubarb nationwide. Since the National Agriculture Statistics Service (NASS)
does not have records for lesser crops, it was suggested that an association
be contacted. Thus the search for the Washington organization.
Unfortunately, the organization does not seem to have a website. Thus, I am
wondering if you still have the contact information? If you do, would kindly
inform me whom to contact, along with contact info.
Purpose: Our organization is in the process of having Benjamin Franklin
admitted to the National Ag Hall of Fame. Since Rhubarb was one of nine
crops Franklin introduced to colonial America, we would like to learn the
annual dollar sales for documentation purposes.
I look forward to receiving your reply.
Respectfully,
John Walburn - Secretary
Benjamin Franklin's Integrity Project
