Anybody have experience laying flagstone? I've done plenty stonework but never flagstone. I have 44 pieces averaging 132 pounds each lying on the ground like a big jigsaw puzzle that now needs to get put together. Am doing a front walk and entranceway, ramada floor and walk from ramada to driveway.
I used the project as an excuse to buy a new tool, a Makita 4.5-inch angle grinder. Now I have to learn how to use it and the stone chisel and hammer to lay the stones with minimal waste and pretty joints.
One good thing, the temps are predicted to stay under a hundred for today and the next week. We're having a cool wave.
