Don't even try to get brain-dead Google to find this under its proper terminology---diecast machine.
Homemade plastic injection machines from Gingery et. al are faster and more versatile, but scrap aluminum is everywhere
for the cost of picking it up (you will have to make a small non-ferrous foundry too), and for a few applications aluminum parts are better---except where self-lubricating HDPE reduces friction) On the other hand you need a small gfanulator to re-use your plastic scrap---you just remelt pieces of aluminum scrap.
