Monsanto fined $1.5m for bribery
* The US agrochemical giant Monsanto has agreed to pay a $1.5m (£799,000) fine for bribing an Indonesian official. *
The Monsanto Monster is corrupt through and through. I was curious to see which American newspapers reported this and did a Google search for "monsanto bribery." Up came 46,900 hits, but the first three pages gave no reference to an American paper save something I don't recognize in Portland and a Greenpeace site.
Perhaps Monsanto corruption is not news.
