This is very insightful. This election was indeed another stolen one, stolen
from the people and divided up by many interested parties, including many
corporations and extremely rich people.
People by and large thought they were voting for or against the Iraq war,
for or against abortion rights, for or against homosexuality. But we have
never had an opportunity to vote on those things. At best they are
tangential to the actual situations decided by the election- entirely
different ones: who gets which lucrative and influential position, mostly.
A lot of us who feel and extreme need to restore the constitution, interfere
with the theft of the whole world, people and resources, by the few, and get
the military industrial machine under control and accountable, did our best
to identify these goals with a person, John Kerry. It was not an easy thing
to do- he is not those things, he's a phenomenally wealthy career
politician. Others did what they could to confuse Christian values, family
or national security with another phenomenally wealthy career politician,
George Bush.
Confusing either of these people with the sides of the "issues" they "stand
for" is hard, exhausting, demoralizing work! I tried, damn it, I tried, but
I couldn't do it.
Television.
