http://www.bereavement.org/e_kubler-ross.htm<http://www.bereavement.org/e_kubler-ross.htm> Dr Elizabeth Kubler-Ross who published a series of books "On Death and Dying" 'way back when ... like the 1960's/'70's ??

Kubler-Ross just died a couple weeks ago, here in Scottsdale. After publication of On Death and Dying in 1969 for which she is most famous she continued her work helping those at the end of their lives and their survivors. Seems to me she did a lot of good with her life.

"Much of the increase in household net worth came from rising real estate values. The Fed said the market value of household real estate, which includes owner-occupied homes, second homes and vacant land, rose 2.9 percent to $15.713 trillion in the second quarter."

Real estate has always been the basis of wealth. Home ownership in the USA is at a record level and rising. Coincidentally, and apropos to an earlier discussion, I recently read that credit card debt is down. One might speculate that economic conditions of the last few years have created a mindset of hunkering down and being financially conservative.

We read so much bad news, here's a positive sign:
