We are moving to 20 acres in Arizona. So we need to sell our little suburban homestead in Utah.

If anyone needs to live close to big city to work, but wants the small town feel and to be able to keep animals, they may want to check out our place.

It is in Santaquin Utah. 20 minutes from the Orem/Provo area. 45 minutes from Salt Lake Valley. 1 hour from Salt Lake City. I work in Draper, up by Salt Lake City and it only takes me 45 minutes to drive to work (we live only a few blocks from the freeway entrance.)

We have a fenced garden area inside the privacy fenced back yard, 30+ chickens that free range in the fenced back yard, two goats - we milk one, and some rabbits. Others in neighborhood keep horses, chickens, etc. One side is bordered by an orchard - two other sides by roads (it is a corner lot). It is in a culdesac so there is very little traffic.

We gave enjoyed living here, and love the house - if we could move it onto more land we would. It is older - built around 1915 with an addon in the 40's or 50's. The older part is lathe and plaster. Beautiful arches and hardwood floors. It is configured with 4 bedrooms but could be setup for more (or less). One room in the basement was setup as a darkroom with running water - we use it for food storage.

Here are some additional pictures.

Our across the street neighbors and the mountains that are 1 mile away:

The pallet and tarp goat shelter in our backyard. You can also see the next door orchard:

I just found a bunch of pictures from when we first bought the house in Feb 2003
