> A forest held off-limits to humans provides no educational,
recreational or spiritual opportunity. This is a waste.
"Spiritual" - "Man does not live by bread alone. *Real* wilderness/*Forest* is not waste.
"Educational" - if you don't have a *before*,
what does an "after" *show* anybody ?
"Recreational" - when the 4x4's tear up
the topsoil just for something to do, garbage
is scattered because "campers" don't want
to take it home, "hikers" cut down growing
trees because they're too stupid to know
green wood doesn't make a good campfire,
'recreation' becomes a word banned from
'mixed company'. |
