Doreen,

Hi, I use peat moss, vermiculite and perlite. I mix it up until you can
clearly see all three ingredients.
I also use citrus food. All of my citrus are doing fine and fruiting.
I use this basic mix minus the food for all of my tropical plants. I think
the amount of drainage that this mix offers works really well.
I have to use more peat for any outdoor winter sowing that I do however
because this mix does not work well for that. It is too fast draining.
After your request for photos this summer I found some various citrus that
were in bad shape on clearance so I bought them. I was missing having them
anyway. I also started some from seed. I have some lemons turning yellow
now.
