Do you mean baby greens? Like an assortment of lettuces or other greens,
picked young?
Normally greens are cool weather crops so don't need bottom heat. They like
sun and cool nights. I've grown a lot of lettuces different greens and
harvest many of them young for my own purposes. That includes patches of
various cutting mixes. I just don't know if that's what you mean.
Way back when I looked into the economics of growing them under lights, it
was looking like it would cost $30 or more a month for the electricity. I
don't eat that much lettuce and I wasn't ready to go commercial.

What is the best medium to use for growing? And, do the seeds need to be
started on a heat mat? I'm only growing for personal consumption.
