Hi everyone:

I'm writing to the Garden Writers on the list (and to those who are considering joining the organization) to announce the upcoming Region II meeting at the Philly Flower Show.  Many of you will not be receiving the flyer that generally accompanies this announcement because you are out of the region.  I also realize that this is the single best-attended Regional meeting the GWA sponsors and we always get a major turn out from the rest of the country.  I'm letting you all know the date so that you can mark it on your calendars and think about the travel arrangements.  I also wanted to get this out before the holidays intervened.

Here's the scoop:

Gloria Day has done a great job scouting out the best rates in hotels.  She will follow this posting with all of the room details.  If we can get a consensus, we'll block a group and be able to stay in the same place and arrange for an evening's gathering on Sunday night.  It would be a great chance to catch up before the rigors of the flower show.  I hope that you all consider the great possibility of escaping the winter blahs and joining us at the Philly meeting!
