I grow all organic here in Maine. Besides my own compost, I use Earth Juice Grow and Bloom liquid fertilizers and Organic Gem Liquid Fish, which is cold pressed rather than an emulsion and seems to have a lot less odor. I've also been using a lot of worm compost in my potting mixes this year with good success. I've been testing different brands this year for Seeds of Change, as has the New Mexico research farm, and we've decided on Laughing Crow, which we'll be offering in the SoC catalog this year. I also use some Chicken manure on heavy feeders like corn.

Back to catalog copy.

Best to all,

Do any of you use organic fertilizers exclusively to grow crops? If so, I'd
like to hear about your experiences, learn which commercial fertilizers you
favor and what works best for you. This is for an article I'm writing on
the best way to feed your garden. Please contact me offlist to keep the
chatter down.
