Hi Frediano,
I’m sorry for my long overdue answer, I had accidentally marked the message
as read and didn’t notice it had come before I went to search.
I have a Catalina instance ready, I’ll send you the login details privately.
I installed lib tool for glibtoolize via Homebrew, but couldn’t get
autoreconf to work, it kept complaining about a possibly undefined macro
AM_ICONV:
configure.ac:123: warning: macro 'AM_ICONV' not found in library
autoreconf: running: /usr/local/Cellar/autoconf/2.69/bin/autoconf --force
configure.ac:123: error: possibly undefined macro: AM_ICONV
I’ve tried forcing it, and I’ve tried it for both freetds-1.1.24 and
freetds-dev.1.1.91
You absolutely found the error with the missing -target for the dylib. Do you
have a suggestion as to how we can try to apply it? I wrote it manually into
configure and ran again, and then build succeeded :-) Now I have a Catalyst
library! :-) Wonderful! :-)
Cheers
Niklas
