There is the problem neither are enabled. I will recompile freetds.

Hi,
looks at Caution-http://www.freetds.org/userguide/freetdsconf.htm and
Caution-http://www.freetds.org/userguide/odbcconnattr.htm (if you are using
ODBC) and search for "encryption".

Use "tsql -C" command to understand if either GnuTLS or OpenSSL (required for
encryptions connection) are enabled.
