Hello list,
i have a question regarding the documentation on
http://www.freetds.org/userguide/domains.htm
"To use domain logins without SSPI or Kerberos, use the 'DOMAIN\username'
syntax for the username and use the domain password."
The database server i want to connect to is not a member of a Windows Domain.
Instead, I want to use a local Windows User to use for authentication:
tsql -S mssqlserver -U 'SERVER\mylocuser' -P password
On the windows server i am getting the following errors:
SSPI handshake failed with error code 0x80090311 while establishing a
connection with integrated security; the connection has been closed.
Login failed for user ''. The user is not associated with a trusted SQL
Server connection. [CLIENT: 192.168.X.xx]
What am I doing wrong?
Thanks,
Simon
