- Subject: [freetds] date_fmt not sufficient
- Date: Mon, 24 Jan 2011 15:15:00 +0100
Well... still doing some small progress on mssql 2008 patch... The
current problem is DATE/TIME (well.. same problem for Sybase 15).
tds_convert use TDSCONTEXT->date_fmt to format date converted to
string which contains both date and time format. However there are not
format options for date and time separately. This is not a big problem
for ODBC which has a fixed format (conversion can be done at odbc
level) but should be fixed for other libraries.
Is correct to split date and time format in two strings and separate
them with a space. I know that in Italian/English/French this is
correct but is it correct even for Chinese, Japanese or Arab ??
bye
