Your perl code is missing a closing curly bracket, so it fails to compile. After you have fixed your program, i would suggest setting the TDSDUMP environment variable documented at http://www.freetds.org/userguide/logging.htm and examining the output to see what it says. If you want to post the log to the list, remember that usernames and passwords will be included in the dump file.
