- Subject: [freetds] INSERT with OUTPUT clause
- Date: Thu, 01 Apr 2010 13:04:50 -0400
Hi,
I tried a statement like this: INSERT INTO test (char, real, int) output INSERTED.real, INSERTED.int values(1, 5.4, 333)
DB is MS SQL 2005. With TDS version 8.0 (or 7.0) it doesn't return anything, but if I set TDS version to 4.6 or 4.2 it does return a resultset with two columns and one row as it is supposed to.
Was something broken in the latest TDS protocols?
Thanks,
Mike
